Tottenham’s injury woes this season have been well documented as they continue to head towards relegation from the Premier League.
In recent weeks, however, the likes of Destiny Udogie, Lucas Bergvall, James Maddison and Rodrigo Bentancur have returned.
However, a handful of players remain on the sidelines, making Tottenham’s injury crisis the worst in the history of the Premier League.
And now, it appears as if their curse won’t even spare loan players, with Luka Vuskovic emerging as the latest victim.
Luka Vuskovic faces spell on the sidelines
The Croatian has been one of the breakout stars of the 2025-26 campaign as he continues to play a starring role for Hamburg and Croatia.
However, he has missed the Bundesliga side’s last two matches with a knee injury as Hamburg lost to Werder Bremen and Stuttgart, conceding seven goals in the process.

Vuskovic was expected to return to action this month, but it appears as if that won’t be the case.
BILD report that the joint in his knee is ‘more severely damaged’ than first thought, ruling him out of the game against Hoffenheim this week.
His exact return date remains unspecified, leading to fears that he could face an extended spell on the sidelines.
Vuskovic’s Tottenham future undecided
Vuskovic will return to Tottenham after his loan spell ends at the end of the season.
However, it remains to be seen what happens with his future, especially with the North London outfit currently fighting to avoid the drop.
Vuskovic has been linked with Barcelona and a host of top European clubs owing to his unbelievable form this season.

He is the next big defensive talent in the making and Tottenham can’t afford to lose him without a fight.
Cristian Romero has been linked with Atletico Madrid and Micky van de Ven has yet to commit his future to Tottenham.
The North London outfit will surely be on the hunt for a central defender in the summer, and Vuskovic’s presence could help them splash the cash on other areas of the pitch.
In terms of his injury, Hamburg will look to err on the side of caution as the young defender could be central to Croatia’s hopes at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
