Tottenham dealt another massive injury blow during international break

Things are seemingly going from bad to worse for Tottenham Hotspur on and off the pitch.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side are already rooted to the bottom of the Premier League standings and need to pull up their socks to avoid being dragged into a relegation dogfight.

During the ongoing international break, they have already lost Jan Paul van Hecke to injury after he picked up a problem vs Serbia.

And now, it appears as if his compatriot Micky van de Ven could also spend a spell on the sidelines after an awkward injury.

Micky van de Ven injury blow for Tottenham

Late in the game vs Serbia, Van de Ven went down clutching his arm after Luka Jovic fell on him.

And the Netherlands finished the game with ten men as they had made all their allowed substitutions, due to which the Tottenham captain was taken off the pitch without a replacement.

It looks like an arm injury, but there has been no official confirmation on the extent of his problem, so Tottenham fans continue to wait anxiously to see if he can feature this weekend.

Having already lost Van Hecke, an injury to Van de Ven could prove to be catastrophic for De Zerbi.
