Tottenham Hotspur endured a summer of change and seemingly overhauled their squad under Roberto De Zerbi.
However, they still have a lot of work to do, particularly in attack, and are expected to be active in the upcoming transfer windows.
Earlier this week, we relayed claims that Arsenal are in the hunt for Kroupi, who is now close to returning from his injury.
And now, it appears as if Barcelona are also still in the running to sign the coveted attacker.
Tottenham blow in Eli Junior Kroupi race
As relayed by Caught Offside, Barcelona are keeping a close eye on his injury return, having had two bids rejected for him in the summer.
Kroupi scored 13 Premier League goals in his debut season and was one of the best players in England last season under Andoni Iraola.
The young attacker is one of the most clinical players in front of goal, and it goes without saying that Tottenham could do well with a player like him.
However, with Arsenal and Barcelona also in the race, it looks like they face an uphill battle to convince him to join the club.
