Tottenham have just confirmed that Igor Tudor has left the club by mutual consent after just 44 days in charge of the club.
The Croatian failed to win a single Premier League game in charge of the club in six attempts, with his only point coming against Liverpool in the 1-1 draw at Anfield earlier this season.
Aside from the club’s form, Tudor has had to deal with his father’s passing in recent weeks, due to which a mutual separation was the best solution for all parties involved.
Tottenham are already on the lookout for his replacements, with a handful of names being monitored. And now, sources close to the club have revealed their managerial shortlist, with a few familiar names mentioned.
Roberto de Zerbi headlines Tottenham’s shortlist
Tottenham’s interest in De Zerbi is well documented, but now, Alex Crook has confirmed via talkSPORT that the North London outfit have intensified efforts to bring him on board before the end of the season.
However, De Zerbi has reservations about joining Tottenham amidst a relegation battle, due to which other candidates such as Sean Dyche, Adi Hutter, Ryan Mason, Chris Hughton and Robbie Keane are also being monitored.
Each of the aforementioned names have been heavily linked with the club in recent weeks, but don’t be surprised to see another name or two being thrown into the mix in the coming days.

In fact, when Thomas Frank was sacked, hardly anyone expected Tudor to get the job due to his lack of experience in England, but that was exactly what happened.
Tottenham’s next Premier League game is on April 12th, so they have a bit of time on their hands to make the right appointment.
Dyche to the rescue?
De Zerbi is obviously the most talented manager on their shortlist, but his style of play could take the players a lot of time to adapt to, which is something they can’t afford as they need points on the board immediately.
Hutter, meanwhile, hasn’t experienced English football as a manager, which makes him a risky option. And it goes without saying that while Mason and Keane know the club inside out, they lack top-flight experience to warrant a job of such magnitude.
Among their candidates, Dyche should emerge as the overwhelming favourite as he has been there and done it several times in the past. In his Premier League career so far, he has saved Everton and Burnley from relegation, which is exactly what Tottenham need at the moment.

In fact, one could argue that his sacking at Forest was a bit harsh, as he secured six wins from 18 Premier League games, which is by no means relegation form.
Tottenham got it wrong with Tudor, but with virtually no margin for error this time around, the pressure is on Johan Lande and Vinai Venkatesham to identify the right man for the job.
