Richarlison’s Tottenham exit has moved closer after Spurs reportedly opened discussions over a summer sale.
Juventus currently offer the most realistic route, with the north London club prepared to negotiate for between €20million and €25million, around £17million to £21million.
Richarlison has entered the final year of his contract and Tottenham risk losing him for a significantly reduced fee if he remains beyond the summer window.
Roberto De Zerbi wants to add at least two important attackers before the new season. That recruitment plan could further reduce Richarlison’s opportunities despite his involvement during pre-season.
Richarlison transfer talks opened with Juventus interested
According to CaughtOffside, Richarlison is no longer considered untouchable and Tottenham will listen to suitable offers. Juventus have discussed the Brazilian as an alternative to Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani.
The proposed fee is considered affordable for Juventus. Richarlison’s reported £90,000-per-week salary would also fit within the Italian club’s wage structure.
However, Juventus have not yet submitted a formal offer. Their interest may depend on whether they can revive negotiations for Kolo Muani, who remains their preferred attacking target.
Fenerbahçe and clubs from the Middle East are also monitoring Richarlison. The 29-year-old would reportedly prefer to stay in England, although he is open to joining another leading European club.
Richarlison strengthened his position by scoring in Tottenham’s 2-0 victory over Auckland FC. Mathys Tel created the goal shortly after both players entered during the second half, as covered in ReadTottenham’s match report.
That contribution underlined the experience he can still offer. Spurs must nevertheless decide whether to accept around £21million now or risk losing further control over his future.
A Richarlison transfer would also create space and wages for De Zerbi’s leading attacking targets.
