Tottenham transfer news as agent confirms attacker wants to leave

Tottenham Hotspur are currently focused on outgoings as Roberto De Zerbi looks to fine-tune his squad after a massive spending spree.

A handful of fringe players and youngsters have left the club in recent weeks, and others are set to follow.

Manor Solomon hasn’t played a competitive game for Tottenham in over two seasons but has featured in pre-season under De Zerbi.

That hasn’t stopped his agent from speaking to the media, as he confirmed that his client will look to move on permanently.

Manor Solomon wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur permanently

Solomon has spent the last three seasons out on loan at Leeds United, Villarreal and Fiorentina with varying degrees of success.

He seemingly has no future at Tottenham and it is in the best interest of all parties involved to secure a permanent transfer.

And that is exactly what his agent Ronen Katzav believes will happen, although he refused to dwell too much on the details.

“Next season? I don’t like to speculate,” said Ronen Katzav to @sport5il.

“We’ve over a month left in the transfer window. The goal is that it will be a permanent transfer. Statistically speaking, the last week of the window is the busiest.”

“I won’t mention any specific team by name; that wouldn’t be appropriate. The goal is to remain in one of the top five leagues, without a doubt.”

Tottenham are likely to sign an attacker or two in the coming weeks, having been linked with Savinho and Kroupi Jr, among others.

Solomon continues to feature in pre-season, but we can’t see him being a part of De Zerbi’s plans in the long haul, so a transfer makes perfect sense.
