In recent weeks, Harry Redknapp’s name has been mentioned within footballing circles as Tottenham Hotspur continue to be embroiled in a relegation battle.
With no wins and just four points collected from their last 11 Premier League games, Igor Tudor’s side have slipped to 16th in the table, just a point above West Ham United and Nottingham Forest.
The Croatian has only overseen three games in North London and is already facing the heat, with David Ornstein confirming that Tottenham are on the lookout for replacements.
And now, while a handful of names have been mentioned in the media – including Redknapp – talkSPORT have revealed Tottenham’s eight-man managerial shortlist if Tudor is indeed given the boot.
Redknapp-Tottenham links wide of the mark
While Tottenham want Roberto de Zerbi, the Italian has no intention of returning to the touchline immediately, having just left Marseille a month ago.
Apart from the former Brighton boss, the report mentions Robbie Keane, Mauricio Pochettino, Sean Dyche and Ryan Mason, while the other three candidates from the so-called ‘eight-man shortlist’ haven’t been revealed.

And while Redknapp’s name was mentioned earlier, talkSPORT’s report does not involve the 79-year-old, whose last job was with Birmingham City in the Championship back in 2017.
However, the Englishman is held in high regard by Tottenham for his successful spell at the club between 2008 and 2012.
Redknapp makes come and get me plea
While there haven’t been any reliable reports of Tottenham actually considering Redknapp, the 79-year-old said last week that he would gladly take the job if they made a move for him.
“I’d go in and have a crack at it,” Redknapp said via the Houston Chronicle.

“If they ask me, I could go and do a job for sure. They know where I am if they need me.”
Tottenham could sack Tudor if they fail to win against Liverpool as the two sides prepare to lock horns at Anfield.
With West Ham United and Nottingham Forest finding form in recent weeks, relegation is looking like a serious possibility with nine games to go in the Premier League this season.
Redknapp isn’t in the running, but will Tottenham turn to a tried and tested coach like Dyche, or will Mason get a chance due to his knowledge of the club inside out? Time will tell.
