With each passing Premier League game, the possibility of relegation is growing for Tottenham Hotspur as their wretched run under Igor Tudor continues.
Since replacing Thomas Frank, the Croatian has lost each of his four games in charge of Tottenham across all competitions, conceding a staggering 14 goals in the process.
In the Premier League, Tottenham are currently 16th. However, they are level on points with 17th-placed West Ham United, while Nottingham Forest are only a point below them.
The Hammers’ creditable 1-1 draw against Manchester City last night pulled them out of the relegation zone at Forest’s expense, with Vitor Pereira’s side set to take on Fulham later today.
And now, a horrifying statistic has emerged that goes to show just how bad things are for Tottenham at the moment.
Tottenham’s relegation doom in numbers
Tottenham are the only team yet to win a Premier League game this year and are in their worst run of form in over three decades.
And after West Ham’s positive result yesterday, Tottenham could well be in the relegation zone before they kick a ball at Anfield later today if Forest get three points against Fulham.
In recent weeks, teams around the bottom three have been chipping away with points, which doesn’t bode well for Tottenham as they are going through their worst spell of the modern era.

Wolves are effectively relegated and are playing for pride, but even they’ve taken nine more Premier League points in that period than Tottenham.

Liverpool aren’t setting the world alight by any stretch of the imagination, but at this point in time, Tottenham wouldn’t fancy themselves against any team in the world as the rub of the green seems to be firmly against them.

Tottenham wouldn’t pay too much attention to the second leg of their UEFA Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid, either. They lost the first leg 5-2 and considering the fact that their Premier League status hangs by a thread, they’ll have both eyes on their clash against Nottingham Forest next week.
If they somehow manage to win that game, it would come as a massive sigh of relief to everyone associated with the club while also opening up a sizeable gap between themselves and their fellow relegation strugglers Forest.
