James Maddison continues to struggle with injuries for Tottenham Hotspur and is yet to start a Premier League game this season.
The England international missed most of last season with an ACL injury but returned during the relegation run-in under Roberto De Zerbi.
He is now fully fit and will look to make it count in the coming weeks.
Another player who is currently working his way back up from an ACL injury is Wilson Odobert, who isn’t expected to feature until next year.
And Maddison feels the young attacker has been a credit to himself with his work rate and determination.
James Maddison lauds Tottenham attacker Wilson Odobert
Maddison took to Instagram to laud the former Burnley man’s work ethic as he continues his rehabilitation in North London.
He wrote: “The dark days in the midst of rehab. Empty training grounds, away from the team. Takes a strong man to get through it. Keep going, son! Proud of you!”
Having Odobert back could prove to be priceless for Tottenham as they are lacking quality, pace and output on the wings.
Omar Marmoush, Savio and Mykhailo Mudryk have joined the club recently, but they need time to get to grips with their new surroundings.
Odobert, in his own right, will take some time to return to his best, so Tottenham will err on the side of caution with his rehab.
