Tottenham Hotspur still have a few holes to fill in their squad despite signing ten players in the summer transfer window.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side are currently struggling for form and consistency and are 20th in the Premier League.
It’s still early days, but they have a lot of work to do to start firing once again.
In terms of transfers, they are already making plans to bolster their ranks in 2027.
And now, if reports from England are to be believed, they want to sign Kim Min-jae from Bayern Munich next summer.
Tottenham want Kim Min-jae
Football Insider report that the Bavarian giants could part with the experienced defender next summer.
In January, however, Vincent Kompany will not sanction his sale, so Tottenham and his other suitors will have to bide their time.
An excerpt from the article reads: “Tottenham could move to sign Kim Min-jae next summer as Bayern will be open to offers for his services, sources have told Football Insider.
“Spurs have kept Kim, 29, on their transfer shortlist for several years after he nearly joined the club in 2020.
“He was playing in China at that point, but has gone on to feature for several top European clubs, winning league trophies in Italy and Germany.
“Recent reports have claimed that Spurs are plotting a fresh move for his services in the January transfer window.
“Bayern will not let him leave mid-season, but Tottenham could land him next summer as the German giants will be more open to an exit.”
Kim is an experienced campaigner, but Tottenham don’t really need another central defender unless one of their existing options decides to leave, so we have to wait and see how this one pans out.
