Luka Vuskovic and Will Lankshear have been Tottenham’s most notable sales so far in the summer transfer window.
However, that will likely change in the coming weeks as Cristian Romero is locked in talks to sign for Atletico Madrid.
The Argentine will surely leave, but other teams such as Barcelona, Inter Milan, and, dare we mention it, Arsenal, have been credited with an interest.
Another player who could leave Tottenham is Djed Spence, with Inter’s interest well documented.
And now, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on his situation.
Tottenham yet to sanction Djed Spence sale
Roberto De Zerbi admitted last month that Spence is a player who could leave the club this summer, but he hasn’t yet signed off on his departure.
And Romano says Inter are attentive to the situation and could make an offer if Spurs open the door to a departure.
He wrote on X: “Inter remain keen on Djed Spence as right wing-back, as revealed last night.
“It depends on deal conditions as currently seen as too expensive, but Inter remain attentive if Spurs open doors in the upcoming weeks.”
Spence is valued at around £40m by Tottenham and has also been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United in recent weeks.
We can’t see Inter meeting that fee, but if Tottenham reduce their demands and the England international pushes for a departure, the deal could be back on track.
