Chelsea could sell Tottenham transfer target in January

Tottenham could add to their squad in the upcoming transfer windows despite splashing the cash in the summer.

Roberto De Zerbi made ten new signings, but there are still a few holes to fill within the squad.

On deadline day, Tottenham completed a double deal from Chelsea as Tosin Adarabioyo joined permanently, while they also agreed a loan deal for Mykhailo Mudryk.

And now, if reports are to be believed, Malo Gusto could leave in January amid interest from the Lilywhites.

Tottenham target Malo Gusto could leave in January

FlashScore report that the French international could re-evaluate his situation in January as he continues to fight for his place for club and country.

An excerpt from the article reads: “There remains interest around him, with Atletico Madrid having explored a move and Bayern Munich, Juventus, Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain previously linked.

“Manchester City’s future position is harder to predict given the uncertainty surrounding their Premier League charges.

“Chelsea will now consider his future role. They could continue trying to find the right environment for Gusto to shine, or recognise that a move may be best for all parties.”

Honestly, if Pedro Porro is fit and firing, Tottenham don’t need another right-back for the foreseeable future, so we doubt this is a deal they will pursue in January.
