Tottenham are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League standings after five games played in the competition this season.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side haven’t clicked into gear as new signings continue to integrate, while a handful of important players remain on the sidelines due to injuries.
After narrowly avoiding relegation over the past two seasons, the Lilywhites were expected to kick on this time around after a massive spending spree in the summer.
There have been suggestions that De Zerbi could be facing the heat so early in the season, but Tim Sherwood believes the Italian will turn things around imminently.

“I’m not sure he’s under pressure because they’ve given him everything he wanted, so they must have full trust in him,” said Sherwood via Sky Sports.
“He’s proven that he’s a very good Premier League manager, albeit he’s never been at a club the size of Tottenham Hotspur, with the scrutiny that is upon the club, but he looks like a character who can handle that scrutiny, and he just needs a win.”
A lot of knee-jerk reactions have emerged on social media from fans and pundits after Tottenham’s start to the season.
However, it’s nice to see Sherwood have a cool head on his shoulders and give a rather measured take on how things have gone so far and how much time De Zerbi could get.
