Igor Tudor has replaced Thomas Frank on the touchline for Tottenham Hotspur, with the Croatian taking over the reigns at the club on an interim basis.
He oversaw his first training session on Monday and will look to stamp his authority on the squad immediately to help stop the rot.
Spurs are currently 16th in the Premier League, just five points above the relegation zone. And while it looks inconceivable that they could drop down to the Championship, it will undoubtedly be on Tudor’s mind, who needs to deliver results immediately.
His first taste of English football is set to come in the form of a North London derby as Tottenham host Arsenal on Sunday.
And the Croatian has given a glimpse into how his team will look to play when Mikel Arteta’s high-flying side come to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tudor outlines clear style of play for Tottenham
Tudor has mostly been a stopgap saviour for clubs as opposed to a long-term solution over the course of his managerial career so far, which is probably why he got the job at Tottenham.
He prefers to line up with a 3-5-2 formation, although it could be a difficult task to get specialist players for each position due to Tottenham’s growing injury list.

Nevertheless, the Croatian claims Spurs will look to race off the blocks and play an attractive brand of football the fans can appreciate, confirming that he will never look to play for a draw regardless of who they face.
“Big week, important games,” he said to Tottenham’s official website. “This derby is a fantastic game to play. We want to play this game in a way that our fans will like.
“I’m going to give everything that we have in the right way, brave but in the same way intelligent and smart to achieve what we want, and that’s the victory.”
He later added: “And about winning or drawing, the truth is I never saw the coach who said that he can play for a draw. It’s not possible.
“So offensive football, yes, but smart, that’s the key.”
Tottenham’s current injury list
Wilson Odobert became the latest player to join the treatment table as he suffered an ACL injury last week that will keep him out of action for the foreseeable future.

Richarlison and Pedro Porro are short-term absentees and could return in a week, while the likes of James Maddison, Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Bergvall, Dejan Kulusevski, Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies will not return anytime soon.
Kevin Danso is recovering well from his toe injury and should be back in the first week of March. As for Cristian Romero, he is still out owing to a suspension and will miss the next three games domestically.
Tudor is working with bare bones at the moment, but the game against Arsenal is the perfect chance for him to immediately endear himself to the Tottenham faithful with a positive result.
