Tottenham Hotspur will take on Everton tomorrow in what promises to be an intriguing game of Premier League football.
The Lilywhites are yet to win a game in the competition this season and have picked up just one point as they continue to struggle with form and injuries.
Roberto De Zerbi confirmed in his pre-match press conference that James Maddison and Mohammed Kudus will be available for selection tomorrow, while Mykhailo Mudryk will spend a spell on the sidelines due to an injury.
And now, the Italian has appeared to suggest both Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie are injury doubts vs Everton.
Udogie and Porro injury woes emerge for Tottenham
Both players featured in the 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest.
De Zerbi, however, feels he needs to err on the side of caution with them. Porro is coming on the back of a stressful, albeit triumphant, 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign with Spain.
As for Udogie, he has had his fair share of injury struggles this year, so Tottenham are treading a tightrope with him.
And the Tottenham boss feels both players face a race against time to be fully fit vs Everton tomorrow.
“Pedro Porro felt a small muscular problem,” said De Zerbi in his pre-match press conference.
“We have to see tomorrow if he’s available or not, but in this moment I don’t want to take any risks. The same (with) Udogie.
“Pedro Porro and Udogie are similar players because one, Pedro played a World Cup, a long World Cup and we already knew after the World Cup it could be a difficult management for him and for Udogie.
“Last season, he suffered many injuries; he played 60 minutes in Nottingham and we have to manage Destiny also in the best way we can.”
Both players are virtually indispensable to Tottenham, so De Zerbi’s cautious approach is good coaching from him.
