Tottenham still have a bit of work to do to fine-tune their squad before the transfer deadline.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side have signed eight new players and could add one or two more, based on departures.
Earlier today, Pape Sarr agreed a deal to sign for Juventus, while the likes of Richarlison and Souza have also been linked with departures before the deadline.
And now, Tottenham have finally green-lit Mikey Moore‘s loan move to FC Koln.
Mikey Moore to leave Tottenham on loan
The Englishman agreed a deal with Koln almost a month ago.
However, Tottenham didn’t want to sanction the deal until they felt they had enough bodies in attack, which could well be the case after Iliman Ndiaye’s potential arrival.
Ahead of the transfer deadline, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Lilywhites have finally sanctioned Moore’s departure.
He wrote on X: “EXCL: FC Köln have closed the agreement with Tottenham to sign Mikey Moore, here we go!
“Deal in place on a straight loan and green light to travel from #THFC. No buy option clause, back to Spurs in June 2027.”
Moore started each of Tottenham’s three games this season in all competitions and racked up two goals. He clearly has a big future at the club and will look to hone his craft further for the Bundesliga side.
Good luck for the rest of the season and see you soon, Mikey!
