And now, reports from England claim the Dutchman has officially asked to leave Liverpool and join Tottenham.

TEAMtalk report that Gakpo’s agents have spoken to the Liverpool hierarchy to inform them that their client wants a transfer to Tottenham.
The Dutchman is captivated by Roberto De Zerbi’s project in North London and is believed to have had a conversation with the Italian, which has played a big role in his decision.
Liverpool, however, are standing firm on the fact that they won’t sell Gakpo on the cheap.
The Dutchman is clearly a top target for De Zerbi and he clearly wants the move, so don’t be surprised to see this one cross the line before the transfer window slams shut.
