Since the 2026 FIFA World Cup concluded, there has been a lot of chatter about Djed Spence’s Tottenham Hotspur future.
The versatile full-back has been linked with several clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United and Inter Milan after his fantastic displays in the competition.
Earlier today, we relayed claims on Read Tottenham that Spence would be open to a move to Inter and is valued at around €45m.
And now, Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto have some more details on a transfer that looks set to happen.
Djed Spence edges closer to leaving Tottenham
After his update this morning, Romano shared another tweet on Spence’s situation.
He wrote on X: “EXCL: Inter are set for club-to-club talks with Spurs for Djed Spence with opening proposal to follow.
“Story from two days ago, confirmed as Inter will try again for the English RWB. Spence, keen on move. Decision up to Tottenham on deal conditions.”
Matteo Moretto appeared to double down on those claims, adding that the deal could advance concretely in the next few hours.
Tottenham are willing to sell, Inter want the player and Spence is keen on the move, so the deal is headed in the right direction.
The only thing left for the two sides to agree on is the fee, after which the England international can travel to Italy for his medical.
