‘On track’ – Fabrizio Romano confirms €45m Tottenham player wants to leave

Tottenham Hotspur still have a lot of work to do between now and the end of the summer transfer window.

They have signed six new players but more incomings are expected, while the outgoings front is expected to be busy too.

Cristian Romero is close to joining Atletico Madrid, while a handful of others have left on loan and permanent deals.

Yesterday, we relayed claims on Read Tottenham that Inter are still monitoring Djed Spence, whose future continues to generate a lot of chatter.

And now, Fabrizio Romano has provided another update on his situation.

Djed Spence open to leaving Tottenham for Inter

Spence is open to leaving Tottenham and Inter are prepared to re-enter the race if Roberto De Zerbi’s side reduce their asking price.

Romano wrote on X: “Inter are prepared to send an official bid for Djed Spence if exit conditions change compared to €45m request post-World Cup.

“Inter believe price can be under €40m now and talks will follow — back on track as exclusively revealed. Spence, keen on the move.”

Judging by all the reporting so far, the England international will leave the club this summer. And with Tottenham’s stance softening, Inter will look to bring down the asking price to finally sign the player.
