Since their early spending spree, Tottenham Hotspur’s focus has been on player sales and departures.
Earlier today, we relayed claims on Read Tottenham that Djed Spence could be the latest player to leave amid interest from Inter Milan.
Cristian Romero is also close to joining Atletico Madrid, which would be another notable change for Tottenham at the back.
And now, if reports from Italy are to be believed, Tottenham are warming up to the idea of offloading Destiny Udogie this summer.
Tottenham not completely against Destiny Udogie sale
Earlier this summer, reports confirmed that the Italian international would not be allowed to leave.
Now, however, Andy Robertson has been signed and Ben Davies is still at the club, while Souza also looks like he’s going to stay and fight for a spot.
Alfredo Pedulla reports that Tottenham’s stance on Udogie is now slowly changing amid transfer interest from AS Roma.
He wrote on X: “Roma will have further talks with Tottenham for Udogie. Up to a month ago, he was untouchable, but the situation is changing.
“It depends on the deal structure.”
Udogie is a fantastic player when fit, but his injury woes have become a huge issue for the club.
If the right offer comes along, Tottenham need to consider it at the very least, as he’s not a player who can be relied upon, which is evidenced by the fact that he is yet to feature in pre-season so far.
