Tottenham transfer news as two first-team departures confirmed

Mason Melia in action for Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur are currently focused on selling players after spending around £230m on six new signings.

The likes of Luka Vuskovic, Alejo Veliz, Alfie Devine and Will Lankshear have left on permanent departures, while Yves Bissouma departed the club on a free transfer after the end of the 2025-26 season.

Tottenham defender Ashley Phillips is in advanced talks to join Middlesbrough, which would signal another academy departure.

And now, it appears as if Mason Melia and Mikey Moore have also found their loan destinations for the forthcoming season.

Mason Melia and Mikey Moore to leave Tottenham

Moore was heavily linked with a move to FC Koln last week, and now, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Bundesliga side are favourites and should get the deal done.

“EXCLUSIVE: FC Köln send official bid to sign Mikey Moore on loan from Tottenham!” wrote Romano on X.

“Negotiations at advanced stages with #THFC as deal could be completed next week with Moore open to the move.”

“Several clubs keen but Köln now clear favorites.”

Earlier this week, we relayed claims that Melia was set to join Championship side Lincoln City on loan for the forthcoming season.

And now, Tottenham have confirmed the young striker’s departure in another notable departure.

They are both two talented attacker’s in their own right and should gain valuable experience as they continue to make the next step in their careers.

Good luck for what’s to come, Mason and Mikey!
