The prospect of relegation got a lot more real for Tottenham Hotspur as they suffered a damaging 3-0 home defeat to fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest.
It’s safe to say the previous week misled the North London outfit as they began to show signs of life under Igor Tudor.
However, Vitor Pereira’s side produced a stunning showing away from home to secure three priceless points and move out of the relegation zone.
The Tottenham faithful have every right to feel hard done by as they showed up in big numbers to support the team, only to be let down by such a static performance in what was supposed to be one of their biggest game of the season.
And Jamie O’Hara didn’t mince his words as he launched a scathing attack on Tudor and his former team.
Tottenham and Tudor ripped apart
At the stroke of halftime, Igor Jesus broke the deadlock with a bullet header and Forest went into the break with a deserved 1-0 lead.
It goes even worse for Tottenham in the second half as Morgan Gibbs-White and Taiwo Awoniyi got their names on the scoresheet to complete an emphatic display from the away side.
And while the game was happening, O’Hara appeared to be losing his mind on X as he continued to slam Tottenham for just how bad they’ve been under Tudor.
“Igor Tudor is the worst appointment in Spurs history.
“I told you he’s a fraud. Lange, Vinai and Tudor should all be sacked immediately,” continued O’Hara on X after Tottenham went 2-0 down at home after Morgan Gibbs-White’s strike.
Tudor has now just picked up one point from five Premier League games for the club. That simply isn’t good enough by any standards, let alone for a club fighting to avoid the drop.
Tudor’s job on the line
After positive results against Liverpool and Atletico Madrid, the feel-good factor was back at Tottenham as their fans welcomed the players in style ahead of the game.
However, a defeat to fellow relegation strugglers Nottingham Forest has knocked the stuffing out of everyone related to the club, so a change could be imminent.
Tottenham’s next Premier League game isn’t until April 12th, giving them enough time to get to grips with a new manager’s philosophy if they decide to part ways with Tudor.

Things change very quickly in football, so don’t be surprised to see the Croatian relieved of his duties in the coming days as the relegation six-pointer has gone in favour of Vitor Pereira’s side.
The only silver lining is that Tottenham are still above the relegation zone. Nottingham Forest have leapfrogged them in the table, but West Ham United have replaced them in the bottom three after their damaging defeat against Aston Villa.
