Tottenham Hotspur remain in the market for reinforcements ahead of the summer transfer window deadline.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side have already made eight new signings this summer, but the Italian is keen to add another player or two to his squad in the coming days.
Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo has been heavily linked with a move to North London, but the Reds have been unwilling to sell him so far.
In terms of their defence, it was reported earlier this summer that Crystal Palace’s Daniel Munoz was a player Tottenham admired.
And now, David Ornstein has confirmed that Nottingham Forest have made an official offer for the Colombian international.
Nottingham Forest make offer for Tottenham target Daniel Munoz
He wrote on X: “EXCL: Nottingham Forest submit offer to sign Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace.
“Proposal for 30yo right wing-back worth £20m + £2m add-ons. #CPFC considering whether to accept – #NFFC boss Oliver Glasner keen to reunite with Colombia int’l.”
Tottenham looked at Munoz as a multifaceted option who can play defensively and further forward.
After Djed Spence’s departure, the Lilywhites could do well with a versatile defender, so Munoz certainly fits the bill.
However, it certainly looks like he’s headed to Forest to reunite with former Palace boss Oliver Glasner.
