Fabrizio Romano confirms Tottenham interest in £70m Chelsea attacker

Tottenham’s search for an attacker seems like it’s within the confines of the Premier League.

Various sources have confirmed that Savinho and Cody Gakpo have keen admirers at N17 and talks are ongoing to sign the pair.

Earlier today, we reported on Read Tottenham that Nicolas Jackson is also a target for Roberto De Zerbi, although his price tag could prove to be prohibitive.

And now, it appears as if Jackson isn’t the only Chelsea player who is on Tottenham’s radar.

Tottenham interested in Pedro Neto

Fabrizio Romano (via Metro) confirmed on his YouTube channel that the Portuguese international is a player Tottenham are keeping an eye on.

Neto is a key player for Chelsea and is likely to play a big role under Xabi Alonso. However, if a bid in the region of £70m is made, it appears likely that the Blues will consider the offer.

Links with Neto suggest Tottenham could be keeping an eye on him as a Savinho alternative.

It’s hard to imagine the Lilywhites signing both players as they’d command huge fees and play in the same position, so it looks like it’s one or the other for De Zerbi.

That said, talks are on to sign Savinho from Manchester City, so Neto isn’t an active target at this stage.
