Aside from Savinho, Cody Gakpo is the one attacker who has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham this summer.
The Dutch international has been a key player for Liverpool since joining the club from PSV Eindhoven under Jurgen Klopp and has emerged as a reliable goalscorer in the Premier League.
Liverpool have thus far been unwilling to sell Gakpo, but recent pursuits of Ibrahim Mbaye and Cody Gakpo suggest they could be open to a sale if those transfers materialise.
And now, sources close to Gakpo have confirmed that no agreement has been reached for the Dutchman to join Tottenham.

Florian Plettenberg wrote on X: “Tottenham are in very concrete talks with Cody Gakpo and have already made contact with Liverpool.
“However, sources close to the player currently deny that any agreements have been reached. A move to Spurs is nevertheless a serious option for Gakpo.”
This is both good news and bad news for Tottenham.
Maybe the deal isn’t as advanced as what’s being reported, but the Lilywhites’ interest is genuine and the player is open to a move.
If Liverpool agree to sell, Gakpo could well be a Tottenham player in the coming weeks as the club clearly have the financial muscle to pull off such a transfer.
