Tottenham Hotspur have had some notable departures in terms of first-team players this summer.
And in the coming days, two players are set to join that list: Cristian Romero and Djed Spence.
The Tottenham captain is locked in talks to sign for Atletico Madrid and the move is expected to be finalised soon.
As for Spence, Inter have already made an offer to sign him, as we’ve reported on Read Tottenham throughout the day.
And now, reports from Spain confirm that Barcelona have made contact to sign Pedro Porro.
Barcelona want to sign Pedro Porro from Tottenham
Barcelona defender Jules Kounde has been linked with a transfer, and the Catalan giants want Porro to replace the Frenchman.
Journalist Gerard Romero provided an update on the matter on his YouTube channel.
“Contact has been made in recent days with Pedro Porro, with the full-back’s entourage. He is one of the highest-paid players at Tottenham,” said Moreno.
“He renewed very recently, but Barcelona have sounded out his entourage in the event that [Jules Kounde] leaves.”
Porro won the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Spain, with Mundo Deportivo noting that Lamine Yamal really enjoyed playing with the full-back and combined well with him on the right flank.
That said, we have to file this in the ‘not happening’ category. Porro signed a new deal before the World Cup and Roberto De Zerbi spoke glowingly about him, so there is absolutely no chance Tottenham will agree to sell him.
