Tottenham transfer news as deal for attacker set to be finalised tomorrow

Manor Solomon in Tottenham Hotspur colours, with his move to West Ham set to be finalised

Tottenham Hotspur are focused on fine-tuning their squad and have already offloaded a host of players in recent weeks.

On top of the confirmed departures, Mikey Moore is also on his way out to Köln on loan, while Ashley Phillips’ sale to Middlesbrough is set to be finalised shortly.

Another player who isn’t part of Roberto De Zerbi’s plans is Manor Solomon. Tottenham have played him regularly in pre-season, and to be fair to him, he has played quite well, which has led to interest from other clubs.

Last week, there were reports that West Ham had agreed a deal for Solomon, only for the deal to fall through yesterday.

And now, reports suggest his move to the London Stadium will be confirmed tomorrow.

Manor Solomon to finally leave Tottenham

Solomon has made just five first-team appearances for Tottenham and has had loan spells with Fiorentina, Leeds United and Villarreal.

Before West Ham’s move came about, there were reports that Hull City could enter the race for the winger as they prepare to remain in the Premier League.

However, Ynet Global now confirm that Solomon’s move to West Ham will be confirmed tomorrow for a fee believed to be in the region of £10m.

It isn’t the biggest fee in the world, but it is for a player who was never going to play for the club, so Tottenham will take what they can get and put this chapter to bed.
