Tottenham Hotspur’s search for an attacker continues, albeit with not too much luck.
The likes of Ferran Torres, Cody Gakpo, Eli Junior Kroupi and Savinho have been reliably linked, while a handful of other players have also garnered interest.
Earlier today, one-time Tottenham target Fisnik Asllani agreed a deal to join RB Leipzig.
And now, Spurs-linked Antonio Nusa, who is valued at around £51m, has made a brutally honest confession on his future.
Antonio Nusa rubbishes transfer speculation
Nusa starred for Norway at the 2026 FIFA World Cup and has been on the scene for quite a while now.
He has been heavily linked with a departure during the summer transfer window, but the Leipzig man remained tight-lipped until today.
However, he has finally broken his silence on the matter, claiming that he is only focused on the Bundesliga outfit and doesn’t want to leave.
“Media can write whatever they want… I never asked to leave Leipzig.”
“I’m here back from vacation, focused on Leipzig,” told Nusa to Sky Sport DE via Fabrizio Romano.
Nusa is set to remain at the club and with Asllani also set to join the Bundesliga outfit, Tottenham have seemingly been handed two blows from Leipzig today.
They are running out of time to add to their attack and will need to pull a rabbit out of their hats to sign at least one player before the start of the new season.
