Tottenham transfer news as major decision on attacker to be made in ’48-72 hrs’

Tottenham Hotspur need to sell well in the coming days to add to their squad further in the back end of the transfer window.

It’s not to say they need the funds, but Roberto De Zerbi will look to trim his squad to finalise the 25-man list with eight homegrown players.

A handful of players have already left in recent weeks, while Mason Melia and Mikey Moore are also in talks to depart Tottenham on loan.

Manor Solomon has been a surprise package in pre-season in terms of how much game time he has got.

But if reports are to be believed, he could be returning to the Championship.

Manor Solomon in talks to leave Tottenham permanently

Earlier this summer, Solomon’s agent confirmed that a permanent Tottenham departure would be his client’s priority.

And now, Luca Bendoni reports that West Ham are in talks to sign the attacker, with a final decision to be made within the next 72 hours.

“West Ham are exploring a potential permanent deal for Manor Solomon from Tottenham, as per other sources,” wrote Bendoni on X.

“Parties expect to know if a deal can progress within 48-72 hrs.

Solomon’s performances in pre-season have been quite good, but it’s clear he doesn’t have a future at Tottenham. His recent displays have made him popular in the shop window, which will allow the club to get a decent fee for him.
