Tottenham interested in signing Manchester City attacker – it isn’t Savinho

Tottenham Hotspur’s search for an attacker has taken them across the Premier League without too much success so far.

The most recent player to be linked with a move to the Lilywhites is Cody Gakpo.

Before the Dutchman, Tottenham pursued Eli Junior Kroupi, whose long-term injury has halted talks of a transfer.

Savinho also has keen admirers at N17, with the club also making a move to sign him last summer.

And now, Alasdair Gold has revealed that Savinho isn’t the only Manchester City attacker Roberto De Zerbi is keeping an eye on.

Tottenham interested in signing Omar Marmoush

Speaking on his YouTube channel. Gold claims De Zerbi ‘likes’ Marmoush, who could be allowed to leave this summer if the right offer comes by.

After joining Manchester City in 2024, the Egyptian international has blown hot and cold in the Premier League.

However, Marmoush’s versatility could make him a key player for De Zerbi, as that’s a quality the Italian greatly admires.

Tottenham like both Savinho and Marmoush, but we can’t see a scenario where the Cityzens sanction a deal for both players to move to North London.

Our opinion: Savinho is still the top target, but if a deal doesn’t materialise, Tottenham could pivot to Marmoush as a versatile addition to their attack.
