Tottenham Hotspur have already splashed the cash to reinforce their defence and midfield and will focus on their attack in the coming weeks.
Roberto De Zerbi is building a strong squad and will look to finish the summer transfer window with a flourish.
Tottenham have been linked with a move for Eli Junior Kroupi, but Bournemouth have shown no willingness to sell the Frenchman so far.
Another player who has been heavily admired at N17 is Savinho, who informed Manchester City that he wants a transfer this summer.
And now, Ben Jacobs has confirmed that the Brazilian has indicated to Tottenham that he wants a transfer to North London.
Savinho wants Tottenham Hotspur move
In the early hours of Wednesday, Ben Jacobs provided an update on his X account that came as music to the ears of the Lilywhites faithful.
He wrote: “Savinho has already indicated to Manchester City that he wants to join Spurs. Also wanted the move last summer.
“A leading target, but dependent on Manchester City’s board changing their stance. City could also look to add another attacker.
“Talks have been ongoing between clubs since the early part of the summer.”
Savinho is valued at £60m and is also wanted by AC Milan. However, Jacobs’ recent update is a clear sign that he prefers a move to Tottenham, with the North Londoners pursuing him for close to a year now.
