Tottenham Hotspur have reinforced other areas of the pitch but are yet to sign any attacking reinforcements.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side, however, have been linked with a handful of talented attackers over the course of the summer transfer window.
Club Brugge’s Nicolo Tresoldi has been mentioned as a target for Tottenham, while Koln’s Said El Mala also has keen admirers at N17, among other Premier League clubs.
However, the Lilywhites have been dealt two massive transfer blows as both players seem to be headed elsewhere.
Tottenham dealt Tresoldi and El Mala blow
Florian Plettenberg reports that Borussia Dortmund have made a bid believed to be in the region of €42m for El Mala, with the young German willing to make the move to Westfalenstadion.
Koln are set to reject the offer, but this is still a massive blow for Tottenham as El Mala has been heavily linked with the club this summer.
As for Tresoldi, Sacha Tavolieri reports that he is captivated by Roma’s project, although the Serie A giants have had an initial €35m offer rejected.
Both players are edging closer to transfers elsewhere, so De Zerbi and co don’t have too much time to react, as initial offers have already gone in for the pair.
