At a glance:
- Tottenham won’t sign Randal Kolo Muani permanently
- Frenchman set to return to PSG initially
- Juventus have reached agreement to sign him
Randal Kolo Muani’s Tottenham future is set in stone as he won’t be signed permanently after his loan spell expires at the end of the season.
However, according to Le10 Sport, the French international has already reached a ‘preliminary’ agreement to join Juventus.
Roberto De Zerbi has used Kolo Muani frequently in recent weeks, especially after injuries to Dominic Solanke and Xavi Simons.
That said, he won’t be signed permanently and it appears as if his long-term future lies in Italy.
Kolo Muani reaches agreement with Juventus
Kolo Muani is no stranger to Turin, having already enjoyed one loan spell with the Serie A giants previously.
In fact, he worked with former Tottenham boss Igor Tudor and fared quite well for the club during his brief stint.
The aforementioned report states that the Bianconeri are keen to reunite with Kolo Muani, who is set to go to the 2026 FIFA World Cup with France later in the summer.
Tottenham don’t have the option to sign him permanently, and to be quite honest, they wouldn’t be willing to do so either as he has hardly set the world alight in North London.
The report also notes that Kolo Muani’s move to Juventus will go through, whether or not they get UEFA Champions League football next season.
The deal is expected to be permanent rather than a short-term loan, as in his previous stint, which bodes well for all parties involved.
Kolo Muani failed to deliver at Tottenham
The Frenchman wears his heart on his sleeve and works tirelessly for his team; that goes without saying.

However, the fact of the matter is that his loan spell hasn’t worked out at all. Kolo Muani has just five goals for Tottenham across 38 appearances in all competitions, which simply isn’t good enough.
After the game against Leeds United, Kolo Muani was heavily criticised for his performance as he failed to make a meaningful contribution.
That said, there are still two games to go and he is expected to start against both Chelsea and Everton as Tottenham don’t have anyone else fit in his position.
If Kolo Muani signs off with a bang and saves the club from relegation, Tottenham fans will remember him forever.
