Tottenham Hotspur are set to take on Wolves at Molineux in the Premier League on Saturday.
It is perhaps the final opportunity Spurs have of turning their abysmal form around. Having won none of their last 15 Premier League games, they now need to win at least three in their remaining five.
If Tottenham lose against Wolves and West Ham beat Everton, the relegation battle could practically be over. Hence, it is a monumental game in the history of the north London side.
Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi on Randal Kolo Muani and Mathys Tel
Spurs have had issues in all areas of the pitch this season, including their attack. Their attacking players have failed to impress, especially Randal Kolo Muani. Having arrived from PSG with experience, he has managed five goals and four assists in 36 games across competitions.
Meanwhile, Mathys Tel showed some positivity and flair for Tottenham on the left wing. However, he hasn’t gotten consistent opportunities to impress, and his form has dipped as well.
In his pre-match press conference, De Zerbi said that he expects more from both Frenchmen and said:
“Kolo Muani, in the second half of the game [vs Brighton] and Mathys Tel, both can play better. But not can play better because they are playing bad but because they have a big big talent and I want to see all this talent on the pitch.”

With all their right-wingers injured, Kolo Muani is expected to retain his place in the starting XI against Wolves. He needs to put in a good performance to at least make space for the other attackers.
De Zerbi hints at Kolo Muani starting against Wolves
The Frenchman hasn’t impressed during his time at Spurs, but has also had to play in multiple positions. He is currently occupying the right wing, with Mohammed Kudus and Dejan Kulusevski out injured. Tel, who has contributed three goals and one assist in 33 games, is a contender as well.
However, De Zerbi appeared to confirm in his press conference that Kolo Muani will start. When asked further about the duo, he said (h/t Football.London):
“Maybe he [Tel] can start in the first XI, but I don’t like to change too many players, one game, one game.”

Wolves have already been relegated from the Premier League. Hence, Kolo Muani and Tottenham will not get a better opportunity to turn their form around and get some momentum for the remaining games.
