Tottenham are preparing for their must-win game against Wolves on Sunday.
In the meantime, though, there has been a big update on their pursuit of a new sporting director, while two key players have been linked with departures.
Here are some of the best bits related to the club from today.
Tottenham closing in on Sebastian Kehl
Tottenham’s recruitment over the past 3-4 transfer windows has been a mixed bag, to put it kindly.
Johan Lange has come under immense scrutiny as they remain on the lookout for a sporting director to work in tandem with Roberto De Zerbi.
And now, reports from Germany confirm that Sebastian Kehl is the leading candidate for the role, having recently left his role at Borussia Dortmund.
Kehl is an experienced figure in the game and is held in high regard for his work in Germany. However, a decision isn’t imminent, so expect this one to drag on for a few more weeks at least.
Van de Ven edges closer to exit door
Micky van de Ven is one of the players who could leave Tottenham in the summer as part of a mass exodus.
The Dutchman has flattered to deceive this season and is wanted by some of the biggest clubs in the world.
We reported earlier today on Read Tottenham that Van de Ven has edged closer to an exit as he is currently tying up his off-field affairs, which is a sign that he is making plans to depart the club.
Regardless of what happens, there are still five important games to play that could define his legacy at Tottenham. No pressure, Micky.
Sarr wanted by Fenerbahce
Another player who has been linked with a departure is the Senegalese international.
Sarr is wanted by Turkish side Fenerbahce, who have been in talks with his agents for a while now.
Reports from Turkey also confirm that they will begin ‘official’ negotiations imminently, indicating that Sarr isn’t against a move.
Arsenal could do Tottenham a big favour
Arsenal and Tottenham are fighting for completely different things between now and the end of the season.
However, the Gunners take on West Ham United next month in a game that could have serious implications on both ends of the Premier League table.

If they manage to beat the Hammers, it could be a massive boost for Tottenham as they are currently two points behind Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
This is a moral dilemma if there ever was one, but it’s been such a season…
