Attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen has spoken about the high levels of confidence within the Tottenham team currently, which has helped them come from behind numerous times this season in order to secure vital points.
Spurs have recovered 17 points from losing positions so far this season in the league, meaning that Pochettino’s side have recovered the most points after being behind in games compared to the rest of the Premier League.

Eriksen, speaking to Spurs TV after the game on Sunday, said:
“We feel really confident, when we were 1-0 down it felt a bit weird because we had a lot of the ball, created a lot of chances and should really have scored in the first half. In the second half we kept going and we know we can come back in games.”
“We want to win. We know we’re in a really good position. We were 1-0 down at home against Swansea but we had the ball so much and we wanted to score, wanted to win and get the three points. The table is so close and we want to keep with Leicester as much as possible.”
Eriksen also spoke about the forthcoming London derbies, which sees Spurs travel to Upton Park on Wednesday, before entertaining title rivals Arsenal at White Hart Lane on Satuday.
He said:
“These are two really intense, exciting games,”
“Hopefully at the end of the week we’ll be in a good position. We turned a corner today (Sunday) and we know we have the confidence going into these two games. We know it means a lot to the fans.”
