Federico Fazio could finally be on his way out of White Hart Lane in January, with West Brom looking to complete a move for the Argentian defender, according to the Daily Mail.
Fazio, who joined Spurs from Sevilla in the summer of 2014, has fallen to the bottom of the pecking order so far this season, with his only appearance coming in the Capital One Cup defeat against Arsenal in September.
The Argentian defender, who saw a move to West Brom fall through in August, is open to the idea of leaving with Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld having established themselves as first choice centre-backs, whilst Kevin Wimmer is preferred as backup to the two Belgian internationals.
Since joining Spurs in August 2014, Fazio has struggled to live up to his price tag of £8 million, as well as numerous forgettable performances, including a straight red card on his Premier League debut against Manchester City.
It’s fair to say that if Fazio did move on to join West Brom in January, he wouldn’t be missed.
