Sandro Tonali at Tottenham Hotspur

Sandro Tonali operates as a central midfielder for Tottenham Hotspur. He recently joined the club to bolster the engine room alongside Rodrigo Bentancur and Conor Gallagher. Leon Osman identified the Italian as a standout performer during his early appearances. Moreover, he provides an industrious presence, frequently fighting for tackles across the pitch.

However, the midfielder faces scrutiny regarding his defensive consistency. Steph Houghton noted that he avoided punishment during a recent loose passage of play. Crucially, Tonali struggled to clear a dangerous ball, which allowed an opponent to score. He remains a key tactical option for the manager despite these early teething problems.
