Much of Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-match coverage has been around one man: Dejan Kulusevski.
The elegant Swede is expected to be in the matchday squad for the first time in over 500 days after successfully recovering from his patellar tendon injury.
James Maddison is also fit, although it remains to be seen if the Englishman is fit enough to play 90 minutes.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side desperately need a win as they find themselves rooted to the bottom of the Premier League standings.
And with Kulusevski and Maddison both back, it should come as a welcome boost for the Italian.
However, it’s not all roses for Tottenham as Savio is expected to miss the next few weeks after he picked up an injury in Marbella.
Pedro Porro is also unavailable, while the likes of Xavi Simons, Wilson Odobert and Mykhailo Mudryk are long-term absentees.
Predicted Tottenham XI vs Coventry City: Antonin Kinsky; Archie Gray, Jan Paul van Hecke, Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie; Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali; Mohammed Kudus, Conor Gallagher, Omar Marmoush; Dom Solanke
We can’t see Kulusevski starting as it would be unwise to throw him into the action straight away. However, it goes without saying that he will get quite the reception if he gets some minutes in the second half.
