‘Best in the league’ – Jamie O’Hara makes outrageous Tottenham Hotspur claim

Roberto De Zerbi’s side are 19th in the table and yet to click into gear, with most of their new signing still adapting and a handful of key players on the treatment table.

Tottenham fared quite well vs Manchester United as they came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw, but the fact of the matter is that they only have three points to show for their efforts from six Premier League games so far.

And despite how things have gone so far, Jamie O’Hara believes Tottenham are playing the best football in the Premier League this season.

“When I’m watching the overall play of the Spurs, I’m actually quite excited. I think we’re actually probably playing the best football in the Premier League.

“I do. We just haven’t got the results yet.”

O’Hara is a bit of a fiery character and tends to go overboard now and again. We don’t agree with him, but we can see where he’s coming from.

Tottenham’s performances haven’t been as bad as their position in the league table suggests, and De Zerbi’s side have consistently improved since their first game of the season.

Maybe all they need is one game to click into gear and there will be no looking back since…
