Tottenham Hotspur‘s transfer window will go down in Premier League history for the amount of money they’ve spent and the number of players they’ve recruited.
The Lilywhites have already made eight new signings and are set to add 1-2 more before the transfer deadline.
Over the past week or so, they were in talks to sign multiple attackers, but nothing came to fruition.
But now, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Roberto De Zerbi has got his hands on one of his former players: Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Tottenham to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk
The Italian confirmed that Mudryk will join the North London outfit on loan for the 2026-27 season, with the Lilywhites retaining an option to sign him permanently for £75m next year.
BREAKING: “Mykhaylo Mudryk to Tottenham, here we go! Everything agreed also on personal terms.
“Mudryk joins #THFC on paid loan and also understand there will be a buy option clause not mandatory in the agreement.
“The Ukrainian will re-join De Zerbi. Tottenham and Chelsea set the buy option clause not mandatory for Mudryk at £75m.”
This is probably not the attacking signing Tottenham fans wanted after being linked with a host of other names.
However, De Zerbi has worked with Mudryk in the past, and it’s just a loan move, so not a lot could go wrong.
