At a glance:
- Harry Kane and Bayern lose UCL semi
- Englishman predicts Arsenal vs PSG
- Tottenham fans will hope his words come true
Tottenham fans’ hopes of Harry Kane breaking Arsenal’s hearts in the UEFA Champions League final were dashed last night.
Despite the Englishman’s late goal, PSG prevailed 6-5 on aggregate after a 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena, with Ousmane Dembele scoring in the first half for the away side.
And now, later this month, the defending champions will face Arsenal in Budapest, with continental glory in sight.
Kane was clearly hurt as he looked distraught at the full-time whistle. However, he appeared to predict the outcome of the UCL final, which will be music to the ears of the Tottenham faithful.
Kane suggests PSG will beat Arsenal
With the aggregate score 5-4 in favour of PSG, Bayern knew they had to score at least once without reply to stand a chance.
And their hopes were dashed in the opening exchanges of the game when Dembele tucked home after a brilliant bit of play from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Bayern fared quite well on the night, with Kane showing glimpses of his class.
And despite his late goal, he was unable to turn the tide in his team’s favour as PSG made it through to a second Champions League final in the space of a year.
Kane was spotted in the mixed zone where he quickly spoke to Sky Sports De. And the Englishman feels PSG are slight favourites against Arsenal in the final.
“It’s tough,” said Kane via Florian Plettenberg.
“We had enough chances today to reach the final. Now my focus is on the DFB-Pokal final. We have the chance to win the double.”
“PSG are the slight favourites in the final.”
Tottenham fans will hope Kane is right
As ridiculous as it sounds, there is still a possibility of Tottenham suffering relegation while Arsenal complete a Premier League plus UEFA Champions League double.

And the Lilywhites faithful hoped for Kane to make it through to the final, which would have allowed him the opportunity to break Arsenal hearts, as he’s done so several times over the course of his career.
During his time with Tottenham, Kane scored 17 times against the Gunners in the Premier League, making him the highest-scoring player in the history of the North London derby.
He won’t be able to influence the outcome of the final, but Tottenham fans will at least hope his prediction comes through as the thought of Arsenal being crowned Champions of Europe is dizzying, to say the least.
