- Tottenham home kit for 2026/27 leaked
- Fans not happy with ‘plain’ design
- Many calls for Nike’s exit
Tottenham have seen their 2026/27 home kit leaked in the media ahead of the launch in the next few weeks.
The North London side are going ahead with a plain design once again next season. They have just a subtle diagonal striping on the body, with some navy side panels and sleeve design.
The major change from the current season design sees the shoulder return to plain, while the Nike Swoosh moves to the right and the cockerel to the left from the central position. However, the AIA front-of-shirt sponsor logo remains in the middle and in bright red.
Nike have stated that the new designs draw inspiration from the mid-1980s Hummel kits, which had HOLSTEN as the sponsor. The kit is expected to be available from later this month or early June.
Meanwhile, the goalkeeper kit is set to be a bright pink version with a bold, eye-catching design featuring ‘funky’ lines all over.
Tottenham fans not happy with new kit
Tottenham fans on social media, mainly X, are not happy with the 2026/27 home kit. Many called it the ‘easiest designings job’ in the world, while several others found it boring.
While the design seems to have divided opinions, all Spurs fans seem to agree that the AIA logo in red should not be on the shirt.
Nike’s template seems very similar to England’s away kit for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. With another six years left on the contract with Nike, the fans are not going to see significant changes to the designs any time soon.
Tottenham star heaps praise on Roberto De Zerbi
Tottenham are unbeaten in their three matches under Roberto De Zerbi, and that has helped them climb out of the relegation zone. Conor Gallagher was full of praise for the manager after the win over Aston Villa, hailing the Italian for instilling confidence in the players.
“I can’t speak highly enough of him. He’s been so good. Every player has taken to him, everyone trusts him, he makes you feel good, confident … he’s bringing the best out of players, and it’s only the start.
“Hopefully, we can keep learning from him, hopefully we can build a great team and hopefully it can be the start of something great. We want to carry it on.”
Tottenham face Leeds United, Chelsea and Everton in the last three matches of the Premier League season.
