- Enrico Venturelli joins Tottenham
- Italian part of De Zerbi’s coaching staff
- Work permit finally granted
Roberto De Zerbi’s long-serving confidante Enrico Venturelli has finally joined Tottenham as part of the coaching staff.
The Italian has taken charge of three Premier League games so far, securing four points out of a possible nine.
That hasn’t helped them climb out of the relegation zone, though, as teams around them have been in fine form.
De Zerbi’s coaching staff have been spotted with him on the touchline, Marcattilio Marcattilii and Marcello Quinto joining him initially.
And now, Venturelli’s arrival is set to complete the rest of the team at Tottenham.
Venturelli to serve as a translator for Tottenham
After Igor Tudor’s departure, Bruno Salter was retained by De Zerbi, with the pair forging a relationship during their Brighton days.

Marcattilii and Quinto, meanwhile, joined as fitness coach and senior professional development phase coach, respectively.
And now, Alasdair Gold has confirmed via Football London that Venturelli’s arrival is now official after he was granted a work permit.
The 52-year-old has also had close ties with De Zerbi since he started his coaching career at Foggia, later following him to clubs such as Palermo, Benevento, Sassuolo, Shakhtar, Brighton and Marseille.
While Venturelli is believed to be a fitness coach, he joins Tottenham as a translator and will begin immediately.
He speaks Italian, English, Russian and Spanish and has held important positions within the football fraternity, representing FIFA and UEFA.
Tottenham’s full coaching staff under De Zerbi
Venturelli’s arrival completes De Zerbi’s coaching staff at Tottenham, with a few members being retained from previous management regimes at the club.
