At a glance:
- Destiny Udogie suffers fresh injury
- Italian just returned from hamstring problem
- Tottenham play Wolves on Saturday
There is almost no margin for error for Tottenham, with only five games left in the Premier League season to avoid relegation.
Roberto De Zerbi has picked up just one point from his first two games in charge of the club. However, Tottenham’s performance against Brighton was a step in the right direction as they seemed up for the challenge at the very least.
Saturday’s trip to Molineux to take on Wolves is an absolute must-win clash.
And if reports are to be believed, they may be without Destiny Udogie for the game.
Fresh Udogie injury blow
The Italian only just returned to action after recovering from a hamstring injury, having started each of Tottenham’s last two games.

Udogie drove up and down the pitch and was expected to be central to De Zebri’s system.
However, Jake Sanders reports that Udogie is a doubt for Tottenham’s trip to Molineux, although the nature of his injury remains unclear at this stage.
The report doesn’t have too many other details to talk about, but this certainly isn’t good news for Tottenham.
De Zerbi is expected to put his players through their paces today and will also address the media tomorrow, where he is expected to provide more clarity on the situation.
Souza could be Tottenham’s answer
If Udogie is ruled out of the game, Souza could be handed a rare start as a left-back.
The Brazilian is still getting to grips with English football after moving to Tottenham from Santos in the January transfer window.

Throwing him straight into the deep end isn’t ideal, but that’s the kind of situation the North London club find themselves in.
If Cristian Romero was fit, De Zerbi would have had the option to play him alongside Kevin Danso and shift Micky van de Ven to left-back.
However, with the Argentine also out injured, a central defensive pairing of Danso-Radu Dragusin isn’t really the way to go for this game.
The likes of Romero, Wilson Odobert, Dejan Kulusevski, Guglielmo Vicario and Mohammed Kudus are already on the sidelines.
And now, Udogie’s fresh injury blow is another problem for De Zerbi to address as he desperately attempts to save the club from the drop.
