‘Garbage’ – Jamie O’Hara’s astonishing rant after Tottenham’s calamitous 3-1 Crystal Palace defeat

Tottenham Hotspur plunged deeper into the pits of potential Premier League relegation as they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at home.

It goes without saying that it was one of their worst-ever displays of the modern era as they were desperately devoid of quality and fight.

When Dominic Solanke opened the scoring for the home side, it finally looked like they found a spark to turn their season around, as Ismaila Sarr had a goal ruled out for a marginal offside moments earlier.

However, a catastrophic capitulation ensued, which saw the home side go a man down and two goals behind heading into the interval.

Tottenham dubbed a ‘disgusting disgrace’

Sarr first scored from the spot to restore parity after he was brought down by Micky van de Ven, who was shown a straight red card for his challenge.

Strand Larsen then finished well from close range to give his side the lead, while Sarr doubled his tally moments before half-time to compound Tottenham’s misery.

The second half was particularly difficult to watch as the home side looked devoid of confidence and ideas in a game that is likely to have tested the patience of the most ardent Tottenham supporter.

And that is exactly the case with Jamie O’Hara, who took to X to voice out his frustration immediately after the game.

He wrote: “The owners deserve this, disgrace of a season in every way, disgusting performances, disgusting recruitment, disgusting running of a football club, January window we signed absolute garbage.

“This is the worst I’ve ever seen this football club.”

An eyesore of a watch

We mentioned it earlier, but Tottenham produced one of their worst performances of the season just when they needed to stand up and deliver.

Barring Archie Gray and maybe Mathys Tel, none of the other players really stepped up to the plate, which is a huge cause for concern.

It goes without saying that Tudor’s appointment hasn’t led to the desired results, as alarm bells continue to ring in North London.

And with a game against Liverpool coming up after their trip to Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, it could get a lot worse for Tottenham in the coming weeks. Especially with West Ham United and Nottingham Forest getting points on the board recently.
