Tottenham transfer news as attacker rejected late €30m move

Tottenham made wholesale changes to their squad during the summer transfer window.

Roberto De Zerbi made ten new signings as the Lilywhites opted to splash the cash after narrowly avoiding relegation last season.

Closer to deadline day, there was an almighty scramble involving attackers after Iliman Ndiaye’s failed move to N17.

Tottenham eventually signed Mykhailo Mudryk on loan, after which Mikey Moore’s loan deal to FC Koln was approved.

And now, if reports from Germany are to be believed, two clubs tried to sign him permanently before his move to Germany.

Mikey Moore rejected chance to leave Tottenham permanently

SportBild, as relayed by Sport Witness, claim that both Everton and Fulham made €30m bids to sign Moore.

However, the player showed no interest in taking up those offers as he felt a move to Germany on loan would be the right next step.

Moore featured regularly for De Zerbi in pre-season and also in the Premier League before his transfer was confirmed.

He clearly has a big future at the club, but for the time being, he is better off playing regularly elsewhere.

His stint at Koln has been quite good so far, so if he carries on in the same vein, he could become a key member of the first-team squad in 2027.
