Tottenham and Liverpool are set to lock horns at Anfield later today in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

The Lilywhites are coming on the back of a 0-0 draw against Everton and failed to score in the Premier League once again at the weekend.

And ahead of the game vs Liverpool, De Zerbi has revealed the details behind a private conversation with his Tottenham forwards.

De Zerbi on what he told Tottenham attackers

“Today in the meeting with the players, we spoke about the last third of the pitch,” said the Italian in his pre-match press conference.

“If you analyse the first 30 minutes (of the Everton game), if there was one better decision, it would have changed the history of that game.”

Liverpool are unbeaten this season and will take some beating at Anfield, but the Lilywhites need their attackers to come to the fore to kick-start their season.
