Things are going from bad to worse in terms of Richarlison’s relationship with Tottenham Hotspur.
On deadline day, the Brazilian refused to be flogged off to Everton in a deal that would have seen Iliman Ndiaye join the North London outfit.
Tottenham then signed Mykhailo Mudryk and removed Richarlison from their Premier League squad, also rejecting an offer from Trabzonspor.
And now, the experienced striker wants to take legal action against his club and terminate his contract in order to secure a move to Vasco da Gama.
Richarlison wants to terminate Tottenham contract
Vasco are willing to pay a fee to make the deal happen, but Tottenham want over £20m, which isn’t financially feasible for the Brazilian club at the moment.
Brazilian outlet Globo report that Richarlison wants to terminate his contract and move to the club he supported as a child to get his career back on track.
An excerpt from their article reads: “Richarlison wants to terminate his contract at Tottenham.
“Richarlison’s representatives are taking legal action to seek the termination of his contract with Spurs.
“The forward wants to be released so that he can play for Vasco until December. Tottenham are demanding more than £20M to sell the player permanently, an amount Vasco are unable to invest at this time.”
What a proper mess, it has to be said….
