Richarlison’s Tottenham future has emerged as the talk of the town after his failed deadline-day move to Everton.
Since then, he has been omitted from the Lilywhites’ Premier League squad, with Roberto De Zerbi confirming that he doesn’t want players who don’t want to remain at the club.
Richarlison has been linked with a move to Trabzonspor, who are willing to do whatever they possibly can to land him before the Turkish transfer deadline.
And now, talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook has launched an astonishing attack on the Brazilian for chasing a final payday in Turkey.

“Spurs fans want to see the back of him and that may happen anyway with this big money move to Turkey,” said Crook via talkSPORT.
“What’s the motivation for that move, you wonder? I think it’s difficult to be too sympathetic when you factor in he has been trying to get away from Tottenham for a long time.
“He always claimed to have that love affair with Everton; if he loved them that much, he would’ve gone back, wouldn’t he?”
“He wants one big final payday, but just say it for what it is. He’s always dreamed of playing for Trabzonspor.” (Sarcastically)
We’re not fans of Crook’s comments and the overall narrative about Richarlison, in all honesty. And to be fair to him, players are allowed to choose whatever it is they want to pursue in their careers as long as they are respectful to the club.
The sooner this saga ends, the better it is for all parties involved, but we’re just gutted that Richarlison’s time at the club is ending on a sour note.
